I am a graphic designer with a passion for all things design. While based just outside of Washington D.C., I have spent most of my life in and around Chicago, Illinois and I can say with certainty…I do not miss the Chicago winters!

 

Having worked with several publishing companies setting style and designing a wide variety of magazines and ancillary materials, I now enjoy designing and developing children’s books for NatGeo Kids. The bright color palettes and endless creativity with typography has been a dream, and my children could not be happier watching new pages being designed and books coming home to read. It is an accomplishment that I am extremely proud of. 

 

When I am not designing books, I enjoy working on design projects around the house with my wife. Creating and installing custom millwork, to building one-of-a-kind bookcases. It is fun to imagine the possibilities of what a space can be. From the early design stages to looking through endless paint swatches for the perfect color, seeing the transformation come to life is always exciting.
